The Tent Connection
The Tent Connection is a full service tent rental and manufacturing company. We rent, sell, wash and repair west coast style frame tents. We carry a large inventory of clean white frame tents, tables, chairs, dance floors and staging for special events. Whether you are having a corporate event, wedding or a backyard party, we can supply a dry, shaded, and furnished space for your event. Our in-house washing, repairing and manufacturing allows us to maintain a large inventory of clean, new tents and sidewalls.
The Tent Connection has the inventory to service large outdoor events with multiple tents and large quantities of tables and chairs. Provided with enough time, our crews can set up hundreds of tents and distribute thousands of tables and chairs. If you are promoting an event in the Northeast give us a call.
All of our tents are frame style also known as clear span. They do not have any center poles and are very adaptive to custom set-ups. A variety of methods can be incorporated in securing them to surfaces such as blacktop, grass or cement. Larger tents are required to have a minimal amount of staking or 1000 lb. weights to insure they are stable. When we stake in blacktop pilot holes are made and stakes are placed through them. On take down these holes are filled with stone and cold patch and compacted. The holes are soon undetectable. Adequate staking is an important safety issue with tenting and needs to be treated as such.
Our experienced crews can transform a back yard into a dry and shaded place for your special function. Provided that your yard is fairly flat and accessible, we can set up our frame tents in areas where conventional pole tents will not fit. Space is maximized with elimination of center poles and the flexibility of staking. Once the tent is up we can bring in the tables, chairs, dance floor, staging and/or lighting. Tables and chairs are stacked under the tent. The customer or caterer must set up and break down. Tables can be covered with our disposable cater cloth or fitted plastic coverings, rented linens or something equivalent.
Determining the tent size is important and a good place to start with an outdoor event. Tent size and the amount of tables and chairs are determined by the number of guests and the activity taking place. Check out our tent sizing information for some helpful ideas on planning your function.
Tent pricing provided on this web site includes set up and take down within a 50 mile radius of our office in Northbridge Massachusetts during normal business hours. Set ups or take downs outside of normal hours will require additional charges. Delivery charges for smaller orders are determined by the distance of travel. Please call or e-mail for a quote.
If you are looking for a less expensive alternative and are fairly handy, you may wish to get a canopy that you can set up yourself. Canopies do not have side walls and have a center pole or two, but they fit nicely into the trunk of a car. Delivery is available for canopies but it is determined by distance and would require that you contact us. Click on “tent rentals” for a list of canopies and prices available for rent.
Tables are available in a variety of shapes and sizes. Five foot round tables and eight foot long tables are the most popular sizes. Round tables are generally used for eating and socializing while banquet tables are more for serving or displaying. Banquet tables are sometimes used more often if you are trying to maximize the utilization of space. All the tables have folding legs that allow for ease of transportation.
The Tent Connection is always purchasing new equipment in order to insure our inventory stays fresh and clean. Older equipment that is still functional is sold.
